Food Station is Ready to Launch Canned Sardine and Corned Beef Products

PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (Food Station) prepares to launch new processed food products such as sardines and corned beef to add more variety to its product portfolio.

For now, these products will be focused to fulfill social assistance which distributed by central government or Jakarta Government for the residents

"For now, these products will be focused to fulfill social assistance which distributed by central government or Jakarta Government for the residents," explained Arief Prasetyo Adi, Food Station President Director, on Thursday (6/18).

Food Station Procurement Division Head, Ferry Fardiansah mentioned, brands under PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya are referring to the top brand or national brand specifications.

Food Station Supports Lumbung Beras Siaga Movement

"We see that lot of social assistance (bansos) packages not only contain of rice, but also sardines and corned beef. Thus we see a potential to develop our products in canned sardines and corned beef," he stated.

In general, Indonesia is also a producer of canned foods. For sardines, his side collaborates with company that produces canned mackerel fish in Banyuwangi, East Java. While for corned beef, his side collaborates with processed food company in Probolinggo, East Java.

In July 2020, after fulfilling products for bansos, his side will return to focus on producing corned beef and sardines and distribute it to modern markets and traditional markets.

For information, Food Station has owned several staple food products such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, flour, UHT milk, eggs, garlic, and frozen mackerel. Those additional canned sardine and corned beef products will add Food Station's product portfolio.
